About
Erica launched Capital Creative Spirits in October 2025 after rediscovering the power of creativity in her own life and seeing firsthand how art can bring people together.
Before starting CCS, Erica spent more than 15 years in public service with the U.S. State Department, helping people navigate challenges, resolve conflict, and build stronger connections. Throughout her career, she found the most rewarding work centered on creating positive experiences, fostering collaboration, and helping others feel supported and valued.
Creativity has always been a part of Erica's life, but in 2025 she began exploring it more intentionally. What started as a personal creative outlet quickly became a passion for creating opportunities for others to experience the same joy, confidence, and sense of connection that art can provide.
Today, Capital Creative Spirits offers creative experiences for children, families, schools, organizations, and community groups. Through after-school enrichment programs, workshops, events, and community partnerships, Erica's goal is to make creativity accessible, welcoming, and fun for everyone.
At its heart, CCS is about more than crafts and painting - it's about building confidence, sparking imagination, strengthening community, and creating spaces where people can connect through creativity.
